There are so many spaces that make us feel like we don't belong.

They have no decoration, no place to sit, no color.

With this exercise, we will create something that will allow us to solve those three problems at once: a rug. 


Come make the official "You are an Artist" rug, one that will accompany us on this journey of exploring all the arts! Or use this opportunity to start your own rug - a document of your past, made of old T-shirts and bed sheets - but also a stage for future experiences.


This can be either a communal activity that you do with us on the 8th of Feb, or the first step on a life-long journey of crafting and growing.

If you make art, you are an artist.

You don't have to be paid by someone else to "earn" the title.

You don't have to be a master of any craft either.


With "You are an Artist" workshops series, we want to explore all the art forms, until you find one that resonates with you.

Cultural Producer
João is a Portuguese cultural producer who has dabbled in writing, acting, and filmmaking.
At University he studied Communication and Cinema. He is currently learning the benefits of Culture on Prescription, while exploring other art forms.
